Validity is the research measures what it intends to investigate. The three types of validity are construct validity, content validity, and internal validity. In qualitative research, it is the extent to which other researchers would arrive at similar results if they studied the same case using exactly the same procedures as the first researcher. In classical test theory, it refers to the amount of measurement error in the scores yielded by a test.
There's a lot of factors that affect reliability of a test or a research. According to Asaad (2004) and Calmorin (2004), these factors include the length of the test, moderate item difficulty, objectivity, heterogeneity of the students' group, and time.
